Award-winning Catholic education

Nestled in the heart of Taylors, South Carolina, Prince of Peace Catholic School has been a beacon of academic excellence and spiritual growth since 2002. As the primary apostolate of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, our school collaborates with families to offer children a rigorous curriculum that promotes intellectual formation and virtue development, immersed in the teachings of the Catholic faith.

We take great pride in our students’ engagement in the local community. Through various service projects and outreach initiatives, our students learn the value of giving back and making a positive impact in the world around them. At Prince of Peace Catholic School, we shape young minds to become responsible global citizens.

Throughout the year, our school embraces cherished traditions and organizes events that foster a strong sense of unity and camaraderie among students, families, and staff. These moments of celebration and togetherness become cherished memories that endure beyond graduation.

Safety and well-being are of paramount importance to us. We maintain a secure and supportive environment where children feel safe to explore, learn, and grow under the guidance of our experienced and caring educators.

At Prince of Peace Catholic School, we believe that each child is a unique gift, and our mission is to nurture their potential and prepare them for a future filled with hope and purpose. We welcome you to join our warm and vibrant community, where faith, knowledge, and values converge to create a bright future for all.

Recent highlights

TAG Days stand for teaching about giving. Our first TAG Day supported a school family who is facing a serious medical crisis – sudden paralysis from a devastating fall. $2,600 was raised to help with medical expenses and sudden loss of income.

School Mass is a beautiful opportunity for students to begin their day in prayer together. Young men serve at the altar and other students are invited to take an active role in the liturgy as lectors.

Back to School Night & Meet the Teacher welcomed all of our students and their families to hear from Fr Christopher Smith, Principal Nathan Barontini, staff and more. Parents met teachers in their classrooms and learned about expectations! The evening ended with POPcicles!

New Parent Orientation helped foster familiarity with people and processes at our parish school. Speakers included Fr Christopher Smith, Principal Nathan Barontini, school staff, the chair of SAC and members of the PTO.
